A former student has been accused of sexually exploiting his own teacher nearly ten years after studying under her. Reconnection Through Social Media Turns Into Alleged Exploitation

According to reports, the accused, Dhruval Desai, runs an Amul parlour in Rajkot. He had studied in Class 10 under the same teacher during the 2012–13 academic year. After nearly a decade, the two reconnected in 2024 via social media platforms.

What started as a simple conversation soon developed into a personal relationship. The victim, a divorced teacher living independently, has alleged that the accused emotionally manipulated her by promising marriage and a secure future together.

Marriage Promise, Job Loss, and Emotional Manipulation

The woman claims that Desai convinced her that he loved her and assured her that they would get married and eventually settle abroad. Trusting him completely, she even left her job to focus on their future together.

In addition to sexual exploitation, the victim has accused Desai of financial fraud. She claims he took valuables, including gold and silver ornaments, along with cash, totaling more than ₹6 lakh. The accused allegedly used emotional pressure and trust to obtain these assets from her.

Engagement With Another Woman Exposes the Truth

The case took a dramatic turn when the victim discovered that Desai had gotten engaged to another woman. Soon after, he allegedly blocked her on all communication platforms and stopped responding to her calls and messages.

When she attempted to meet him in person, he reportedly denied even knowing her. This shocking response left the victim devastated and prompted her to take legal action.

Threats From Family and Police Complaint Filed

The victim has also alleged that members of the accused’s family threatened her and used abusive language when she tried to confront them. She further stated that Desai was fully aware of her personal situation, including her divorce, and deliberately used it to manipulate her.

Following her complaint, a case has been registered at Gandhigram Police Station in Rajkot. Police have launched an investigation into the Rajkot Student Teacher case and are actively working to trace and arrest the accused based on available evidence.
