The much-awaited Amc Election 2026 Result has started coming in, with counting underway across Ahmedabad amid tight security and high public interest. The elections for the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation were held on April 26, 2026, covering all 48 wards of the city. As counting began early this morning, initial trends indicate a strong lead for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in several key areas.

Counting Begins Under Heavy Security

Vote counting is being conducted at two major centers in Ahmedabad-LD College and Gujarat College. Authorities have ensured a smooth and transparent process by appointing Returning Officers (ROs) at each center. Security has been significantly tightened to avoid any disruption.

Around 800 police personnel have been deployed at LD College, while nearly 700 officers are stationed at Gujarat College. Entry into the counting premises is strictly controlled, with officials and authorized agents allowed access only after thorough security checks.
