Bhavnagar Kidnapping Attempt Case: Three Arrested in Mahuva, Two Accused Still Absconding
The Bhavnagar Kidnapping Attempt Case has taken a new turn after the Local Crime Branch (LCB) arrested three people allegedly linked to an attempted kidnapping incident in Mahuva city. The arrests were made following specific information received by the Bhavnagar LCB, which then launched a surveillance operation on the road connecting Vadli and Bhadrod.
The three arrested suspects have been identified as Harsh Ashwinbhai Tank, Kuldeep Kishorbhai Vaja and Sagar Chandubhai Shiyal. According to the preliminary police investigation, all three are allegedly connected with the kidnapping attempt reported in Mahuva.
Meanwhile, two other accused persons named in the case, Meet Maheshbhai Machhar and Dharmeshbhai Bharatbhai Rathod, remain at large. Police teams have started searching for them and are checking their possible locations.
Three Accused Arrested During LCB Operation
According to the information available in the case, the Bhavnagar Local Crime Branch received specific intelligence regarding the suspects. Acting on the information, an LCB team kept watch along the Vadli-Bhadrod road.
During the operation, police noticed three men moving around under suspicious circumstances. The team detained them and subsequently identified them as Harsh Ashwinbhai Tank, Kuldeep Kishorbhai Vaja and Sagar Chandubhai Shiyal.
Police believe the three men have a connection with the attempted kidnapping case registered in Mahuva city. Their arrest followed the intelligence-based operation conducted by the LCB.
Two More Accused Remain Missing
While three suspects have been taken into custody, the investigation is not over. Police are still looking for Meet Maheshbhai Machhar and Dharmeshbhai Rathod, who have not yet been arrested.
Investigating teams are gathering information about their possible whereabouts and are carrying out searches to locate them. Police efforts are expected to continue until the remaining suspects are traced.
The names of the two absconding accused have also become an important part of the ongoing investigation as officers work to establish the complete sequence of events surrounding the alleged kidnapping attempt.
