To ensure that the investigation is conducted properly and without any interference, Additional Director Sachdev from Gandhinagar has been assigned direct oversight of the inquiry.

According to the directions issued by the health minister, the statements of doctors present in the hostel will be recorded during the night itself. The investigation team will remain involved at the site until the initial inquiry is completed.
